Operative Therapy

Occasionally, narrowed coronary arteries are surgically widened or renewed. The methods of choice for the surgical treatment of angina pectoris are so-called percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and bypass surgery. PCI is performed using a cardiac catheter.
